Come With Me!

I am officially on the road… Day One: Heather and Bryan’s basement.  For those who don’t know, I have decided to teach English abroad.  I will be attending a training program in Costa Rica for the month of July, to learn how to teach English as a foreign language.  Upon completing my training, I have a few ideas of where I want to go, but I really want to leave it open and see what happens.  I’ve certainly never done anything like this before, and truth be told it’s scary!  But I am ready for a change and the chance “to walk confidently in the direction of my dreams.”  I expect we’re going to be going to many different places this year abroad, but it all starts here.  I invite you all to come with me as I travel to rain-forests, beaches, exotic locations, mountains, volcanoes, looking to teach in the biggest classroom of all: the world!  This blog will be my tie to the people I love.  Since I can’t take you all with me, please check in and comment as often as you can!  This is only day one, and I have no idea where this journey is going to lead, but I’m packed up and ready for action. So, again I ask all of my favorites to come with me!
